Privacy policy

Privacy, kept focused

Invest Circle is a small, private portfolio workspace. This policy explains the limited information used to authenticate approved members and operate the service.

1. Information we use

When you sign in with Google through Clerk, Invest Circle receives the basic identity information needed to identify your account, such as your name, email address, and profile information made available by Google. We use your email address to match you to the circle's approved member list and to apply the correct viewer or administrator role.

The service also stores information entered or managed inside the workspace, including portfolio positions, allocations, transactions, watchlist symbols, investment commentary, comments, and related audit records.

For security and member administration, Clerk may provide approximate city and country, device type, and browser details from a user's latest session activity. These details are visible only to administrators in the workspace, and raw IP addresses are not shown in the app.

2. Google data

Google sign-in is used only for authentication and account identity. The app requests basic OpenID, email, and profile information. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or other Google services, and it does not use Google account data for advertising or sell it to anyone.

3. How information is used

We use account information to sign you in, determine whether you are an approved circle member, show your account details, secure administrator actions, and maintain an audit trail. Portfolio information is used to provide the workspace features requested by circle members. Market data requests are used to display ticker prices and are not combined with your Google profile for advertising.

4. Storage and sharing

Clerk provides the authentication service, and the Site's managed application storage holds Invest Circle workspace records. Information is shared with approved members according to the portfolio role assigned by an administrator. We do not sell personal information. Service providers may process information only as needed to provide authentication, hosting, storage, security, or market-data functionality.

5. Retention and requests

We retain account and workspace information while the circle uses the service and for as long as needed to maintain security and audit records. You may ask the administrator to correct or remove your circle profile or access. For privacy questions, contact dineshreddyk2136@gmail.com.

6. Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the service after an update means the updated policy applies going forward.
